Clients and portal

Manage clients in one place. Each one gets a branded portal where they can view documents, sign contracts, pay invoices, and see what's pending. No scavenger hunt through emails.

TL;DR

Add clients manually, import from CSV, or pull from Gmail. Pipeline stages and tags keep things organized. Each client gets a branded portal with magic-link access, no signup. From the portal they see contracts, invoices, projects, milestones, and what action is on them.

Adding clients

Three paths in. Add them inline when creating a contract or invoice, add them manually from the Clients page (just name and email are required), or import a CSV with the usual fields (name, email, company, phone, address).

If you connect Gmail, the agent can also pull contacts and split leads from active clients automatically.

What you can store

Per client: contact name, email, company name, legal name (for contracts if it differs), phone, billing address, website, tax ID, private notes, and tags. Most fields are optional. Only name and email are required.

Pick a client for a new contract or invoice and their info auto-fills. You fill it in once.

Pipeline stages and tags

Move clients through stages (lead, qualified, active, past) and tag them however you want: by service (Design, Dev, Consulting), tier (VIP, Regular), industry, or status. Filter the list by any tag to find a group in seconds.

Client profile

Open any client to see everything connected to them: contracts, proposals, invoices, projects, total revenue to date, and an activity timeline of recent interactions. The agent uses this same view to answer questions like "how much has ABC Corp paid us?" or "what's the latest with Jane?"

Client portal

Each client gets a branded portal with your logo and colors. From it they can see and sign contracts, view and pay invoices, see project progress and milestones, approve completed milestones, download signed PDFs, and ask the in-portal AI to explain any document.

Designed as a bird's-eye view: pending tasks, documents awaiting action, next milestone, what got delivered last week. No scavenger hunt through emails.

Clients don't need an account. They open the portal with a magic link sent to their email. No password, no signup, no friction.

Your portal URL is accordio.ai/portal/your-slug. Set the slug in Settings to something memorable, like accordio.ai/portal/acme-design.

Archiving

Done with a client? Archive them. Their history is preserved, they disappear from the main list, and portal access stays active in case they come back. Unarchive anytime.
