Manage all your clients in one place and give them a professional portal to access their documents and make payments.

Adding Clients
Quick Add
Add clients when creating a contract or invoice, or from the Clients page:
- 1Go to Clients in your dashboard
- 2Click "Add Client"
- 3Enter their name and email (required)
- 4Add company, phone, address (optional)
- 5Save the client
Import from CSV
Have an existing client list? Import multiple clients at once from a CSV file with columns for name, email, company, phone, and address.
Client Information
For each client, you can store:
- Contact name: Primary contact person
- Email: For sending documents and notifications
- Company name: Their business name
- Legal name: For contracts (if different from company)
- Phone: Contact number
- Address: Billing/mailing address
- Website: Their website URL
- Tax ID: For invoicing purposes
- Notes: Private notes about the client
- Tags: Organize clients by category

Client Profile
Click on any client to see their full profile, including:
- All contracts: Contracts you've sent to this client
- Proposals: Proposals sent and their status
- Invoices: Invoice history and payment status
- Projects: Active and completed projects
- Total revenue: How much this client has paid you
- Activity timeline: Recent interactions
Client Portal
Each client gets access to a branded portal where they can view all their documents. The portal is:
- Branded: Shows your logo and business name
- Secure: Access via magic link (no password needed)
- Complete: All contracts, proposals, and invoices in one place
- Actionable: Clients can sign documents and pay invoices
Portal Features
From the portal, clients can:
- View all contracts (signed and pending)
- Sign contracts that need their signature
- Download signed contract PDFs
- View and pay invoices
- See project progress and milestones
- Approve completed milestones
- Use AI to ask questions about documents
Portal Access
Clients can access their portal in two ways:
- Direct links: Links in emails automatically log them in
- Magic link request: They can request a new login link from your portal URL

Use tags to organize clients by:
- Service type (Design, Development, Consulting)
- Client tier (VIP, Regular, One-time)

Filter your client list by tags to quickly find specific groups.
Archiving Clients
When you're no longer working with a client, archive them to keep your list clean:
- Archived clients are hidden from the main list
- All their documents and history are preserved
- You can unarchive anytime if they come back
- Portal access remains active for archived clients
